Providing more hands-on, curiosity-charging ways to discover science.

We work tirelessly to nurture and shape each visitor's inherent curiosity, transforming it into critical thinking and a lifelong excitement about science. The Museum currently serves more than 300,000 schoolchildren and their chaperones, positioning the Museum as a national informal science education leader. We aim to serve this growing number of students by offering memorable, impactful programs that are rich with science content. These programs encourage teachers and students to have in-depth, two-way communication where asking questions, finding answers, and engaging every sense brings the important role of science to light.

By building a strong foundation of skills for children ages three to five, then growing and evolving our programs, kids will stay engaged and curious about science as they enter grade school and beyond. Children and adults will discover their inner scientists through innovative, hands-on activities you won't find anywhere else.
