2012 Teen Science Scholars

As a Teen Science Scholar, you will collaborate with professional scientists in the field and in the lab at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The Teen Science Scholars program is open to students who can demonstrate their commitment to science-related goals. This is a summer program where students will work approximately 120 hours between June 1 and August 31. Scheduling is flexible according to the science department you are selected to work in. This program will have a lasting impact as you learn more about science careers and conduct real research at a leading scientific institution. Research opportunities are available in anthropology, health sciences, paleontology and zoology.

The 2012 Teen Science Scholars Program is open to students who will be entering grades 10-12 in the fall of 2012. Each applicant must demonstrate an interest in science through their application, essay, and interview as well as a recommendation from a teacher or mentor. Students also should have leadership experience and a good academic background.

For more information, please see the 2012 Teen Science Scholars Brochure.

The 2012 Teen Science Scholars program is now closed for applications. Please check back in January 2013 for information about next year's program and how to apply.
