Museum After Dark 2013 Supports Science Education

The theme for Museum After Dark 2013 was Across the Universe, and that is indeed where our guests helped us go in our fundraising effort. Thanks to their stellar support, we raised close to $900,000 to support educational scholarships and programs at the Museum. We send a heartfelt thanks to those of you who attended!

More than 500 guests were immersed in the awe-inspiring world of constellations and planets as they celebrated the wonders of the universe. Live music, a unique silent auction, and an out-of-this-world meal were experienced among some of the world’s most amazing scientific treasures. The party went on well into the night when 250 revelers attended the fourth annual Young Professionals After Dark Soiree. The “YPs” mingled around the Museum, enjoyed live entertainment, and bid in their own silent auction.

Museum After Dark 2013 was sponsored by John and Ginny Freyer, who chaired the event and are pictured with President and CEO George Sparks (pictured); Land Title Guarantee Company; Henry and Lorie Gordon; and CH2M HILL.
