Field Trip: Join Dr. Ian Miller, chair and curator of paleontology, Department of Earth Sciences, on a one-day field trip to Glenwood Canyon. Enjoy a leisurely canoe trip and a rigorous hike to Hanging Lake. Learn about the geology of the canyon and how it was formed, and see why rivers are one of the most powerful erosive forces on Earth.
