HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE ECARD:
The eCard must be registered with a unique email address. Both adult members on a membership can download the eCard, but must register their device with their own unique email address.
If you already have the app on your iPhone or Windows phone, it will auto update. Android users will receive notification that the app update is ready. Re-registration will be required on all devices.
If you haven’t taken advantage of the eCard yet, simply download it from your device’s app store!
If you already have a Museum webstore account you will use your existing login information to register your device.
Don’t have a Museum webstore account? Create a new username and password to register your device.

Already have the eCard but having trouble?:
Make sure you are on the latest version of the eCard. Open the eCard, navigate to the menu (three bars) and then click on 'My App Settings'. Now, scroll to the very bottom and it will show you what version you are on. Then, go to your app store and check for an update, proceed with updating.
Q: Why get the eCard?
A: The eCard makes membership even more convenient! For starters, you’ll carry one less card in your wallet. Plus, you’ll always have the most up-to-date information about your membership and your Museum with in-app notifications, access to Catalyst magazine, and more!
Q: How can the second named member on my membership download the eCard?
A: Have the second named member navigate to their app store and download the eCard app on their device. During registration please ensure that the second named member registers their device with their e-mail address. Please note that the second named member may not register their device with the same e-mail that the primary member used.
Q: How do I use or share my free Museum Admission tickets?
A: Navigate to “My Tickets” from the home screen and select the tickets you want to use or share. Go to the Ticket Balance section and select ‘Get Ticket.’ A barcoded ticket will appear in the Ready to Use section. If you’re sharing them with someone else, select ‘Send to a Friend.’ Choose “Send selected” and enter their e-mail address OR phone number to send. Select “Done” and your ticket(s) will be sent! Standard text messaging rates apply. When you arrive at the Museum proceed directly to the ticket taker and present your ticket.
Q: Where can I find a receipt for my used or sent tickets?
A: You can find a receipt for used or sent tickets on both the webstore and the eCard. To find a receipt on the webstore, log in to your webstore account at https://secure1.dmns.org/account.aspx. You will need to enter your email address and password. From within your account, select the Member Benefits tab from the top and then the Used section. Here you’ll find a list of any used or sent tickets with a link to view a receipt.
In the eCard, navigate to the “My Tickets” section of the app. Select the “Used / Expired / Sent” tab on the top of the screen and then scroll down to find a record of your ticket. Once you have located the ticket, you can view the ticket by clicking on the “View Ticket Receipt” button below each ticket.
Q: I used the eCard to send my tickets via SMS or email, but they were never received. How can I recover them?
A: Occasionally tickets may get lost when sending via SMS or email. It’s always a good idea to check the spam or junk folder of the intended email address. If you need to send the tickets again, you can access a record of sent tickets from within the ecard. Navigate to the “My Tickets” section of the app. Select the “Used / Expired / Sent” tab on the top of the screen and then scroll down to find a record of your ticket. Once you have located the ticket, you can view the ticket by clicking on the “View Ticket Receipt” button below each ticket. You can share these tickets again using your phones native share capabilities. On iOS, select the Share icon from the tray of icons at the bottom of the screen and then select either Message or Mail. On Android phones, use the three dots in the upper corner to open the browser options. Select Share and then select the method you would like to use. On a windows phone, use the three dots in the lower right corner to open the browser options and select Share Page. Next, select the method you would like to use.
Q: What happens when I share my free guest tickets by e-mail or SMS text?
A: An e-mail or text message is sent to the recipient with a link for the tickets, which can then be printed or scanned directly from their device at ticketing. The tickets expire on the same day that your current membership expires. You will also receive an email confirming that you sent tickets to a friend.
Q: What do I do if I get to the Share Tickets screen and I no longer want to share the tickets?
A: Simply hit the cancel button (beneath the done button) in order to cancel the action of sharing your tickets. The tickets will remain in the Ready to Use section until you are ready to either use them yourself or share them with a friend.
Q: When do my free guest tickets expire?
A: The tickets expire on the same day that your current membership expires.
Q: Who can use or share my free guest tickets?
A: The named adult members on your membership can use and share the tickets. Add-ons cannot, but they can receive the tickets if the named member wants to share them via e-mail or SMS text.
Q: What if I lose my free guest tickets?
A: We are not able to replace your free guest tickets, so please only print them when you are ready to use them and keep them in a secure location.
Q: What is the envelope button in the blue bar for?
A: This is the eCard app message center. The Museum will contact you through this message center with updates and information about your membership and your Museum. If you do not wish to receive messages, simply navigate to the menu bar, then to your app settings, and turn off the auto update messages button.
Q: Can I view my eCard on my tablet, so I can read Catalyst more easily?
A: Yes! You may download the eCard to your tablet. However, only one device (per named member) may be active at a time.
Q: What is the Special Access section in My Membership?
A: Special Access lists the benefits that provide you with greater access, such as admission to more than 330 science center and museums worldwide through the Association of Science and Technology Centers reciprocal program.
Q: What is the Events and Programs section?
A: The Event and Programs section is a listing of the types of events and programs you can expect to be invited to while your membership is valid.
Q: How do I use my member discounts?
A: The eCard Discount section lists all of the available Member discounts. Please present your membership eCard homepage (with Member Number and barcode) at cashiers to receive your discount.
Q: What happens to my plastic card when I switch to eCard?
A: Your plastic card simply deactivates.
Q: May I get an eCard for my Add-on (e.g., nanny)?
A: Yes! We are super excited to extend the new eCard to your named Add-on(s). Simply have the Add-On download the eCard from their app store. To register the device they will need to use your member number, and phone number.
Q: Is my data secure on the eCard?
Q: I am a Young Professional member. How do I use my free Science Lounge tickets?
A: Navigate to “My Tickets” from the home screen and then scroll to the “Ticket Balance” section and select “Get Ticket.” Select the Science Lounge you would like to attend and the number of tickets you would like to redeem. Select “Redeem” and “Done.” A barcoded ticket will appear in the “Ready to Use” section. To send the ticket to a friend simply select the checkbox “Send Ticket.” Select “Send Selected” and then enter their email address OR phone number to send. Select “Done” and your ticket(s) will be sent! Standard text messaging rates apply.

Q: I am a Giving Club Member. How do I use my free lecture tickets?
A: Explorer, Naturalist, Collector, Campion, and Founders Giving Club members receive free tickets to lectures that are $8 - $15; the number of tickets varies by membership level. To redeem, contact Guest Services at 303.370.6306.
Q: I am a Giving Club Member. How do I use my free IMAX and Planetarium tickets?
A: Navigate to “My Tickets” from the home screen and select the tickets you want to redeem or share. If they are for you, go to the Ticket Balance section and select ‘Get Ticket.’ A barcoded ticket will appear in the Ready to Use section. If you’re sharing them with someone else, select ‘Get Ticket,’ navigate to the “Ready to Use” section and then select ‘Send to a Friend.’ Choose “Send Selected” and enter their e-mail address in the “Other Email” field or send via SMS text by typing in their phone number. Select “Done” and your ticket(s) will be sent! Standard text messaging rates apply. At this time you cannot select specific IMAX or Planetarium shows through the app; however, when you arrive at the Museum please see any ticketing agent to select the time and date of the show you would like to see.
