Arachnology (Spiders and their kin) Data Entry Assistant

Provide technical support with the arachnid collections in the Zoology Department. Assist the curator with timely cataloging of new acquisitions, entering collections data into the computer database, and checking the accuracy of past data entries.

 

Required Skills

Solid computer skills, exceptional attention to detail, knowledge of biology and/or taxonomy.

 

Training

On the job training will be provided by the curator

 

Schedule

4-hour Shifts available Tuesday (9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.), Wednesday (9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.) and Thursday (9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.)

 

Minimum Commitment

Four hours per week
