Help us spark children’s learning through play in our Discovery Zone. If you are creative and love working with kids (especially children under 5), then this is the place for you! The Discovery Zone is a hands-on exhibit area designed for young children and their families. Volunteers in the Discovery Zone help visitors learn about the world of science through playful exploration of games, crafts, investigations, and experiments. Discovery Zone Volunteers participate in a wide variety of awesome activities, including: play games from around the world, make science craft projects , dig for dinosaur fossils, create slime, read stories, investigate with magnets, explore the brain, put on an animal puppet show, build & measure towers, listen to children’s questions and science ideas
We are looking for people who are friendly, outgoing, playful and great with kids. If you enjoy using your imagination and have a great sense of humor, you’ll fit right in with our Discovery Zone Team!
