Exhibit Guides support the educational objectives in Expedition Health by working in teams to facilitate a variety of health and wellness activities for the visitors. They work with Museum collections on touch carts, greet visitors and assist in our experiment area, Biology Base Camp.

Required Skills: Excellent customer service skills, solid oral communication skills, ability and desire to work with people of all ages, firm understanding of facilitation techniques as outlined in training, ability and desire to work both independently and as part of a team

Training: The training program consists of 6 hours of general museum orientation, 6 hours of formal training devoted to your position, and 32 hours of on-the-job training.

Schedule: One four and a half -hour shift (8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. or 12:30-5:00 p.m.) per week or every other week

Minimum Commitment: One year

Age Requirements: Available to individual applicants 16 and older and family groups with children aged 12 and older
