Museum Ambassador

There’s nothing better than receiving a warm welcome and useful information when you visit a place for the first time – or the 100th time! Museum Ambassadors provide excellent customer service by greeting guests when they first arrive, providing way finding throughout the Museum, answering phones at the Information Desk, and helping guests plan their visit. And that’s just a start! Museum Ambassadors also assist with special events and facilitate Exploration Stations (educational touch carts). Think of it this way, when you take out all of the major exhibits at the Museum, there’s still 90,000 square feet of space that guests can explore! These public spaces are where Museum Ambassadors operate. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible volunteers who are excited to learn what makes this Museum so special and how to share this knowledge with our audience. Maybe that’s you!
