Fresh out of SXSW EDU ‘24!
In Collaboration with Denver Theatre District
For those that see the power of Art and Science as catalysts to break the status quo for greater change, join us for the ride as we welcome Beatie Wolfe.
Be ready to be moved, provoked, and inspired by Beatie’s deeper comprehension of our climate, human connections, and our planetary responsibilities. We’re honored to welcome Beatie as she unveils Solar Signs with the Denver Theatre District – an intermedia display of shadow poetry and sun prints coinciding with the upcoming eclipse on April 8th.
From her breathtaking digital visualization spanning 800,000 years of CO2 data to pioneering the world’s first bioplastic record alongside Michael Stipe and Brian Eno, Beatie has consistently championed a deeper comprehension of our climate, human connections, and our planetary responsibilities.
Beatie and her collaborator - filmmaker and multimedia artist, Aaron Rose - will also join in on the conversation led by our museum team: James Hagadorn, Ph.D. (Tim & Kathryn Ryan Curator of Geology), and Austin Terrell (DMNS Adult Programs Coordinator), as we delve into Beatie’s projects, forging a path to show us how to break the rules of bridging our innate creativity with scientific pursuits across all fields.
