Larry Sessions, instructor, Metropolitan State College and Community College of Aurora, and former director, Noble Planetarium, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
It may be cloudy and cold outside, but it is clear and warm in the Planetarium. As winter approaches, you’ll see Jupiter hovering in the western twilight, the majestic Andromeda Galaxy gliding overhead, and the mighty Orion rising over the eastern horizon. After Jupiter sets, Mars appears, followed later by Saturn. You will see that winter has the most star-studded sky of all. Bring your sky questions for this last program of 2009, the International Year of Astronomy.
