DENVER—Experience an evening you’ll never forget and support the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Marvel at the exhibition The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt on opening night, September 10, at the Night of the Pharaohs gala made possible thanks to the generosity of Qwest Communications. Funds raised will support the Museum’s education programs.

Gala guests will

  • Meet honorary pharaohs for the evening—Denver Mayor and honorary chair John Hickenlooper, event chair Nancy Sevo, and corporate chair Jim Ruh
  • Experience an “Egyptian bazaar and parade”
  • Sample Egyptian cuisine
  • Barter for unique Egypt-related items, including a 12-day, all-inclusive trip for two to Egypt from Museum Tours
  • Enjoy Egyptian musicians, belly dancers, snake charmers, and other performers

The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt is presented in Denver by Qwest Communications. The exhibition is organized by the United ExhibitsÔ Group, Copenhagen, and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, in association with the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Cairo. It is made possible in part by generous funding from the citizens of the seven-county metro area through the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
