Your body is a living laboratory! Explore the stinky, oozy, crusty, slimy and liquidy products of the human body. Make fake blood, mucus, and scabs. Junior Surgeons: Dissect-athon
Become a junior surgeon! Explore the inner workings of your body. Learn how your body functions by dissecting chicken wings, sheep lungs and hearts, and cow eyes. Anatomy Explorer: Dissect-athon
Sharpen your surgical skills as you learn how to dissect worms, grasshoppers, crayfish and frogs. Learn the classification of living things, proper dissection techniques and how to keep a lab book. Micro!
You know that some parts of the body are not visible to the human eye. Now see them! Study a variety of human tissues, cells and diseases under the microscope. Then become the pathologist and diagnose “patients” with different symptoms. See lymphoma, emphysema, tattoos and skin up close! CAMP-IN: Get Gross─An Overnight Adventure
Enjoy a gross night of snot, poop and much more as you participate in fun exhibits and activities in Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body. Participate in slimy workshops and enjoy an IMAX film that explores the human body, inside and out!

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS: Teachers, your students can discover the fun of biology in the exhibition Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body. The cost is $4.50 for students. Admission is free for one adult per 10 students. Each additional adult will pay the student rate of $4.50.
OUTREACH ASSEMBLY: In the “Good, the Bad, and the Ucky” outreach assembly program, your “Host of Gross” will guide your class through the unpleasant things the human body does to stay healthy by using an interactive presentation and hands-on activities. Some activities include blasting particulate matter through giant nostrils into a crowd of nose hair, searching for “germs,” performing a digestive comic skit, and exploding a giant zit. The program is sponsored by The Children’s Hospital.
TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: In this daylong workshop, K–12 teachers will learn how to incorporate icky science into classroom lessons using hands-on, inquiry-based activities that complement Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body. Activities include a viewing of The Human Body IMAX film, a tour of the exhibition, and information on how to tie the content directly to the Colorado Model Content Standards.
