The Museum’s state-of-the art theaters offer a chance for your students to explore a wide variety of natural wonders both close to home and in the most distant expanses of our universe.
Shows for school groups are held daily in Phipps IMAX Theater and the new all-digital Gates Planetarium. See specific shows for times.
Fee Per Show: $4.50/student, one free adult/10 students. Additional adults pay the student fee. Fee does not include Museum admission.
Reservations: School groups must have a reservation, arrive at the Museum 30 minutes before showtime, and be assembled and in line 15 minutes prior to the show. Absolutely no one is admitted after the film or Planetarium show begins.

Rear Window Closed Captioning and Descriptive Video: Available for most films in Phipps IMAX Theater, but must be requested at the box office 20 minutes prior to show time, first-come, first-served.
