The start of the 2015 Madagascar Paleontology Project field season is finally here! Hank and Joe will be heading over first on Monday May 25 to meet our collaborators at the Université d’Antananarivo and start organizing heaps of gear.
This season will be a huge collaborative effort involving the Université d’Antananarivo, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Stony Brook University, Ohio University, Macalester College, and the University of Chicago. This June, we hope to be knee-deep in fossils in the famous Maevarano Formation of northwestern Madagascar, followed by a six week season in the unexplored Cretaceous beds of the Morondava Basin.
Follow all of the action here all season long…
