Denver Museum of Nature & Science was the site of Educators Night presented by SCFD. More than 3900 educators and their guests RSVP’d to take in the surprising sights and sounds, grab a bite, sip a cocktail, preview IMAX and Planetarium shows, and connect with colleagues.
Sixty seven organizations from across the SCFD counties gathered to deliver moving performances and host engaging activities so that educators could experience the rich opportunities that SCFD organizations have to offer.
Greeted by larger than life performers on stilts, educators flowed into the main entrance and gazed at the masterful aerial artistry demonstrated by teens in the Frequent Flier program. Music filled the halls courtesy of groups who provide access to all manner of musical enrichment programs. Dancers and singers, actors and enactors, an owl and a hawk – among other live animals – added surprise and delight to the evening.
