The Space Odyssey Online
Teacher's Resource Guide has been developed to assist teachers in
planning a comprehensive space program for their students. The
guide provides easy access to grade-appropriate classroom
activities, related exhibitry, Planetarium shows, and background
information for four main concepts: the Solar System, Space
Exploration, Deep Space, and Current Events in Space.

Enchanted Learning's Zoom Astronomy site offers a comprehensive
unit of study that includes the solar system, stars, and many other
related astronomy ideas. This site also has a link to a fantastic
online illustrated astronomy glossary.
Space Kids
The Space Kids site offers students a wealth of online interactive
games for learning about our solar system and beyond. Students can
play games, watch video clips, or take a virtual tour of our solar
system.
Space Place
The Space Place offers a wealth of online activities for students
to learn about important space concepts. The site includes creative
space projects and interactive trivia games, as well as online
crossword puzzles and mazes for students to master.

Astronomy Picture of the Day
This Web site features a different image each day along with a
brief, scientific explanation by a professional astronomer. The
site also features an archive of past pictures and links to other
relevant sites.
NASA Explores
NASA explores offers a wealth of space science related activities
for the K-12 teacher. It provides free weekly articles and
activities on current NASA projects. You can also sign up for their
weekly newsletter for the most up-to-date lesson postings available
on their site.
