Admission

Admission Packages

* From 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., tickets to Gates Planetarium must be purchased at the special combination price (Museum + Planetarium) that includes the cost of general Museum admission. Planetarium-only tickets are available for the 3:00 p.m. show or any shows thereafter (must be purchased on-site). Admission fees and hours are subject to change.

Military

• All members of the military receive free admission to the Museum. This discount applies only to the military member with a current military identification card issued by the Department of Defense. Spouses and children pay regular price. Full price still applies to IMAX, Planetarium and temporary exhibitions.

• All members of the military receive a 50% discount on Museum membership categories up to and including Family Plus. The military personnel must be named as one of the primary members to receive discount. Spouses qualify for the membership discount with current military identification card issued by the Department of Defense.

Buy Tickets

Online

• Buy tickets online.
• Buy or renew a membership and receive discounted tickets.
• All online sales are final; tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Questions: online@dmns.org.
• On the day of your arrival, pick up tickets from a cashier or any Museum Kiosk.

Call Reservations 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 303.370.6000. On the day of your arrival, pick up tickets from a cashier or any Museum Kiosk.
Payment by credit card is required at the time of sale. The Museum accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

At the Museum

• Tickets may be purchased from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Museum's ticket counter inside the main (north) entrance.
• If you arrive after 5:00 p.m. for an IMAX film Friday and Saturday, tickets must be purchased at the ticket window inside the east entrance to Phipps IMAX Theater starting at 5:30 p.m.
• Cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted forms of payment.
• Members may purchase tickets at the Members Desk, located opposite the ticket counter inside the main (north) entrance.

Please note: Long lines often form on weekends and holidays. Please arrive roughly an hour before an IMAX film or Planetarium show is scheduled to begin to ensure enough time for parking and purchasing tickets. If you know you will be visiting ahead of time, tickets may be purchased in advance.
