Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Denver Film Society Announce Lineup and Launch Contest for Second Annual Sci-Fi Film Series

Series includes five popular films and T-shirt design contest

DENVER - April 23, 2012 -Back by popular demand, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Denver Film Society are partnering to present the second annual Sci-Fi Film Series this summer. 

Beginning July 11, the series will feature a lineup of five science fiction films, hosted by various Museum scientists and by Vincent Piturro, English and film professor at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Post-screening discussions will break down the science behind these alternative possibilities, and separate fact from fiction.

The series is sponsored by Xcel Energy.

T-shirt Design Contest

Art and design enthusiasts are encouraged to get creative and submit a T-shirt design for the film series. The top five designs will be selected and posted to the Museum's Facebook page where fans will vote for the top choice. For full contest details, click here.
