Society Announce Lineup and Launch Contest for Second Annual Sci-Fi
Series includes five popular films and T-shirt
DENVER - April 23, 2012 -Back by popular
demand, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Denver
Film Society are partnering to present the second annual Sci-Fi
Film Series this summer.
Beginning July 11, the series will feature a lineup of five
science fiction films, hosted by various Museum scientists and by
Vincent Piturro, English and film professor at Metropolitan State
College of Denver. Post-screening discussions will break down the
science behind these alternative possibilities, and separate fact

Art and design enthusiasts are encouraged to get creative and
submit a T-shirt design for the film series. The top five designs
will be selected and posted to the Museum's Facebook page where
