Scientists from the Space Sciences Department at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science take you "behind the stories" using the best images and animation available to help understand the latest developments.

May 2014 - Dr. Steve Lee is back and ready to bring you up to speed on the latest mission news. He begins with an update on the Mars rovers – Opportunity and Curiosity. Curiosity passed its 5000 meter mark in mid-February.

Next, he talks about the shift of crews aboard the International Space Station. Three members of Expedition 39 returned to Earth on May 13. On May 20, the next increment of Expedition 40 launched to the station and the docking was covered live during the 60 Minutes in Space presentation.

Finally, he looks at the launch and return of SpaceX’s CRS-3 mission delivering supplies to the ISS.
