Museum Director Jesse Dade Figgins and Preparator Philip
Reinheimer pose for a photo in a log cabin while out on a
specimen-collecting trip in the field likely sometime in the 1920s.
While expeditions today rely on computers and cameras, one of the
most important tools of Figgins and Reinheimer's era is propped up
against the wall near the head of the bed.
Boyd Fletcher found yet another great image while scanning the
glass plate negative collection. Check back next week to see
what he finds next.
