The DMNS Anthropology Collections staff is happy to welcome three collections interns which will be helping us during the summer. They are already hard at work rehousing and processing archaeological collections as well as completing research in response to tribal requests for information.

Evan Hawkins (above left) is one of our 2012 Robert L. Akerley Collections Interns. He is a graduate student in Anthropology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also works at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History as a research associate.

Peter Macfarlane (center) is our other 2012 Robert L. Akerley Collections Intern. He graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a concentration in Environmental Studies.

Lee Rodman (far right) is our 2012 Grinnell College Intern. Next school year, Lee will be a senior continuing her studies in Anthropology.
