Scientists from the Space Sciences Department at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science take you "behind the stories" using the best images and animation available to help understand the latest developments.
January 2014 – In early January, Dr. Dimitri Klebe, attended the 223rd Meeting of the American Astronomical Society. In this month’s 60 Minutes in Space, he reports on one of his favorite talks from the meeting titled “Exploring the Stellar Graveyard of the Milky Way".
Dr. KaChun Yu’s first story covers the Frontier Fields program “Exploring the Depths of the Universe”. In his second story, he talks about the latest Kepler mission team results.
Dr. Steve Lee brings us all the latest mission news including updates on both Mars rovers – Opportunity and Curiosity – China’s lunar landing mission Chang’e 3, and the next steps for the ISS Robonaut.
