While the Water Ouzel's nest (also known as American Dippers) is
barely seen on the cliff to the right, photographer Robert B.
Rockwell unintentionally caught a stunningly beautiful Colorado
River scene as well. Rockwell was an early Nature
Conservationist and avid ornithologist. He started volunteering at
the Museum in 1913 and later became a trustee. Boyd Fletcher
scanned this 5 x 7 glass negative from a collection rarely seen by
the public. Check back to see what Boyd discovers next.
