Youngest Volunteer

Posted 8/8/2013 12:08 AM by Frank Krell | Comments

Today was registration at Foothills Elementary in Lakewood. Also today was Becky Krell's first day as a DMNS volunteer. Having seen her sister Vicky volunteering for a year, she couldn't wait to join her. Today was her great day. She got her volunteer badge and is now official. Vicky is already experienced in pinning beetles, teaches her sister, and Becky is a fast learner. They have fun, learn a lot, and do some serious work for the entomology program. At five years of age, Becky is the youngest volunteer in the Zoology Department, and probably in the Museum.
