This program needs a 15 foot ceiling for a tipi, five tables for station materials, and access to electricity. This program also requires 60-75 minutes to set up and 60-75 minutes to break down.
Compare the lifestyles of American Indians in Colorado. Experience life on the Great Plains in a tipi. Learn to weave, bead, and make pottery. Play music and trade artifacts at a "powwow." Please note: The program content will be adapted for your grade level.

If you book less than 30 days before the program, payment in full is due at the time of your reservation. Reservations are required at least 21 days in advance. The Museum will send an e-mail with a payment reminder 45 days before the program. Upon payment, a receipt will be e-mailed to you along with details for your program.
