Does the Museum have bilingual educators?
Yes. Spanish-English educators may be available upon request.
Does the class include a guided exhibit tour?
No. Groups are encouraged to visit the Bears Hall before or after the class.
This interactive class uses hands-on exploration, dramatic play, and immersion to support young learners to discover how American black bears live. Children visit three stations where they become black bears and learn to find food, compare bear bodies to their own, and practice hibernating through winter.
Group Size: Minimum 10 students, 1 adult required; maximum 30 students, up to 6 adults/class
Program Length: 45 minutes
