A Field Trip Adventure includes a facilitated dissection lab, exhibit exploration, and a lunch break. Details regarding times and locations can be found in a customized itinerary included in your confirmation email.
All Adventures run between 10:00am-1:30pm
Up to 6 Adventures can be booked for your group each day. Please note if multiple adventures are booked, the facilitated program may not run at the same time for each itinerary in order to maximize the number of students able to participate. Ask our Guest Services concierges for more details.
$8/student (includes Museum admission), 1 free adult/10 students, $8/additional adult

Group size per session: Minimum 10 students, 1 adult required; maximum 32 students, 4 adults
Explore the human body and the parts and function of the circulatory system through hands-on investigations and small-group dissections of real sheep hearts. Also, visit Expedition Health using an exhibit guide that is designed to connect your class with the exhibition.
A Spanish speaking bilingual educator may be available upon request. The museum can also provide Spanish program materials for students and chaperones

Payment in full is due 30 days before your program. If you book less than 30 days before the program, payment in full is due at the time of your reservation. Reservations are required at least 21 days in advance. The Museum will send an e-mail with a payment reminder 45 days before the program. Upon payment, a receipt will be e-mailed to you along with details for your program.

What is the customized itinerary?
The customized itinerary contains details of your entire field trip from arrival to departure. The only fixed times are the program start times.
What is the exhibit guide used in Expedition Health?
This tool is designed to help teachers and chaperones explore the exhibit space with their students and connect to the dissection lab. Guides are available in English and Spanish.
