Take wonder to the next level as you build your confidence in teaching science! This hybrid course shows you how the basic literacy skills you are already teaching can help your students deepen their understanding and excitement of science as a way of learning. Through face-to-face and online coursework we’ll explore hands-on ways of using nonfiction text, scientific writing, infographics, and, most important, productive discourse, just like professional scientists. Have fun as you observe, practice, and plan using research-based strategies that support and enrich all students.
