This webinar helps you take your strategies for integrating science and literacy to the next level!   Join Jessica Fries-Gaither, teacher and author of the NSTA bestseller  Inquiring Scientists, Inquiring Readers: Using Nonfiction to Promote Science Literacy, Grades 3–5 as we learn inquiry teaching approaches through the use of nonfiction text (such as textbooks, field guides, and narrative expository texts).   Get tips on recommended children’s books about science and specific literacy strategies as a way of authentically promoting your students’ literacy development through science inquiry.
