Scientists in Action: Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them

Program Description

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is home to millions of artifacts and specimens, with everything from dinosaur bones to pottery sherds to the skins and skulls of fantastic beasts. But would you believe that less than one percent of these objects are on display? It’s true! Join the Education Collections team—who have the very cool job of caring for some of the artifacts and specimens—as they take you behind the scenes to explore why the collections are safely preserved and how these objects play a starring role in research, education, and museum magic. Your questions will be our guide on this enchanting adventure!
