UnEarth Colorado, Grades 2-5

Dig up Colorado’s prehistoric past! Use real prehistoric evidence found in fossil analysis to become a junior paleontologist. This immersive experience allows students to interact with authentic prehistoric specimens and gather clues from ancient plants and animals.

A Spanish speaking bilingual educator may be available upon request. The museum can also provide Spanish program materials for students and chaperones. 

1 chaperone per 10 students is required. Programs are currently limited to 20 students and 4 chaperones due to COVID-19 precautions. Face coverings are required during facilitated Field Trip Adventure programming in our indoor studios. Price: $235 per program.

Group Size:

Capacity for each facilitated Field Trip Adventure (FTA) program is currently reduced. A maximum of 20 students and 4 chaperones are allowed per FTA program. 1 chaperone per 10 students is required. DMNS is actively monitoring all public health guidelines for school groups.


Face Coverings:

DMNS prioritizes the health and safety of our guests, staff and community. Face coverings are encouraged for everyone visiting the Museum. 


Physical Distancing:

We are currently not requiring physical distancing for students in our Field Trip Adventure (FTA) programming. If your school has guidelines that requires students to be distanced, please reach out to us at 303.370.6000 to discuss accommodations or other options.
