ADI Train the Trainer Certification for ADI Introductory Workshops Date and Time Monday-Thursday, October 21-24, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Grade For Practicing 6-12 educators Program Description This institute is designed to help district or school science supervisors and coaches develop the knowledge and skills needed to be able to train teachers about the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) instructional model. Participants will first learn about how to deliver an ADI Introductory Workshop by experiencing one from start to finish. From there, participants will have an opportunity to practice demonstrating an ADI lab investigation during a workshop by participating in a microteaching experience. Participants will then learn how to modify an ADI Introductory Workshop for use in a specific context with different groups of teachers and how to anticipate and address teacher concerns about ADI. Participants will learn about different options for offering ADI Introductory Workshops and create a professional development plan for their district.
