Picture-Perfect STEM Lessons Program Description Facilitated by Picture-Perfect NSTA Press authors Karen Ansberry and Emily Morgan, this two-day workshop is ideal for elementary educators who want to integrate STEM and literacy in their classroom or STEM lab. Participants build a solid understanding of STEM and literacy integration and the 5E model by engaging in model lessons and hands-on learning tasks. By the end of this two-day experience, educators have the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to successfully begin implementing Picture-Perfect STEM Lessons in their classrooms. The train-the-trainer option is designed to help curriculum and instructional specialists, science coaches, and other teacher-leaders conduct workshops to introduce the Picture-Perfect STEM program to teachers in their own school or district. In addition to the Two-Day STEMposium, you will receive everything you need to get your colleagues started (facilitator guide, PowerPoint slides, videos, handouts, picture books, posters, and hands-on materials) as well as a follow-up webinar and ongoing support from the authors.
