Week of Reptilian Family Fun Is Free with Museum Admission

DENVER-March 12, 2012-The Denver Museum of Nature & Science invites families and visitors of all ages to enjoy a Slithering Spring Break from Saturday, March 24, to Sunday, April 1. The weeklong event celebrates the Museum's new temporary exhibition Lizards & Snakes, which features 60 live animals from all over the world. Participants will experience reptile fun throughout the Museum, including reptile-themed games, art projects, live animal demonstrations, and more.

"Nothing brings families together more than slithering around the Museum for spring break," said Brian Hostetler, an educator at the Museum.  "Hands-on activities and live programming will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the wilder side of your family while learning about snakes and lizards!"
