René O’Connell, the Museum’s image archivist, holds an accredited master’s degree in information science and a certificate of advanced study in preservation administration. She provides the expertise and management of the care, access, storage, and use of the Museum’s image collections.
René is the historical and civic literacy for the Museum. She shoulders the power to define and provide access to primary sources of the Museum’s history, sources that educate and inform. René says she is the memory of the Museum in pictures.
