Jennifer Miller assists the Earth Sciences Department staff with specimen cataloging. She has been passionate about paleontology ever since she was initially obsessed with dinosaurs at an early age. After job shadowing a scientific preparator for a day at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, she set a goal to one day work in the collections department of a museum. She became interested in invertebrates while taking a paleobiology course at Allegheny College, where she studied trilobites for her senior thesis. She went on to study early Paleogene Brachyura fossils from Austria as part of her MS thesis.
