Did you know paleontologists find skin impressions from dinosaurs in the fossil record? Although no skin tissue is left from the dinosaur, impressions from the animal's skin remains left behind in the sediments surrounding the fossil. This is the skin impression from a hadrosaur (duck-billed dinosaur) from 75 million years ago collected from Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah.
