After getting a view of the real thing, take a much closer look at the second planet from the sun during a virtual trip across the Venusian landscape.

Venus 101 - Find out more about conditions on the second planet from the Sun, and why it’s so hard to successfully land on the surface.
Gates Planetarium - Astronomer Ka Chun Yu and planetarium driver Greg Mancari will show how Venus was used to measure the size of the Solar System and helped drive exploration of the Earth, including the voyages of Captain James Cook.
Science on a Sphere - Take a closer look at the hottest planet in our solar system with a 6-foot globe where experts Mark Bullock and Kevin McGouldrick will project the latest visuals of Venus.
Space Odyssey – Go beyond Venus and explore the Universe.
