PROGRAM LENGTH

A Field Trip Adventure includes a facilitated program, exploration of the museum, and a lunch break. Details regarding times and locations can be found in a customized itinerary included in your confirmation email.

All Adventures run between 10:00am-1:30pm

Up to 9 Adventures can be booked for your group each day. Please note if multiple adventures are booked, the facilitated program may not run at the same time for each itinerary in order to maximize the number of students able to participate. Ask our Guest Services concierges for more details.

COST

$8/student (includes Museum admission), 1 free adult/10 students, $8/additional adult

Scholarships may be available! Ask your Guest Service concierge when you call.

GROUP SIZE

Group size per session: Minimum 10 students, 1 adult required; maximum 32 students, 4 adults

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

In this studio program facilitated by a professional museum educator, your students will meet nature’s “superheroes,” many of which are featured in the Museum’s special exhibition, Nature’s Amazing Machines, as they discover how animals use their amazing body parts and behaviors to survive. Also, enjoy investigation time in the Wildlife Halls with ready-to-use activities loaded onto an iPad provided by the Museum (1 per chaperone).

A Spanish speaking bilingual educator may be available upon request. The museum can also provide Spanish program materials for students and chaperones.

Call 303.370.6000, 7 days a week, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to make your reservation. 

PAYMENT

Payment in full is due 30 days before your program. If you book less than 30 days before the program, payment in full is due at the time of your reservation. Reservations are required at least 21 days in advance. The Museum will send an e-mail with a payment reminder 45 days before the program. Upon payment, a receipt will be e-mailed to you along with details for your program.
