Big or small, YOU make it possible!
There are lots of ways to support the Museum, and we are grateful for every gift. Together we can serve our community and inspire the next generation with an understanding of how science plays a significant role in taking care of our world and each other.
Support our Mission by Being a Volunteer
Volunteers create a lasting impact on the success of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The tireless commitment of all of our volunteers helps make the Museum one of the most highly regarded natural history institutions in the country. Be a part of our volunteer community and help us inspire our community’s passion for nature & science.
Adult, teen and internships
Internships at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science offer opportunities to gain hands-on experience in scientific research, collections, digital research, and fossil preparation. These programs are valuable stepping stones toward careers in professional fields.
Teen Science Scholars complete hands-on summer internships with Science Division staff at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Teen interns strengthen their investigative and communication skills, develop a peer network of students from across the state of Colorado, and share their work and experiences during a Showcase event at the end of the summer.
What’s better than going to the Museum? Working for it!

We showcase world-class exhibitions, provide fun hands-on programs, and engage in active scientific discoveries, which makes the Denver Museum of Nature & Science a truly incredible place to work.
