Jeffrey T. Stephenson

Jeff Stephenson grew up fascinated by natural and cultural history, having been born in Detroit, but also lived in Orlando, Florida, and Farmington Hills, Michigan and Del Mar, California. The natural world was always a few steps out from my family door. He studied archaeology and paleontology but did not pursue a degree, and moved to New York City as an adult to work in the printing industry. But he always wanted to return to the fields of natural science. Thanks to scores of very bright and generous museum curators and researchers, Jeff gained the knowledge and skills that have enabled him to work as a collections manager for over 30 years.

Tracks and Scat

Poop. Yeah, we said it...POOP! Talk poop with our collections team as they relate images of recent track/scat findings to collection pieces and discuss just why poop is so important. Gather your scat knowledge and prepare for a stinky discussion. Giggles permitted.
