Things to Know
Science Lounge events are 21+. IDs will be checked at the door. All guests must present a valid ID in order to enter the museum.
Science Lounge themes are always different, and we love to see you dress in style! Please feel free to express yourself - but here's our official Museum dress code, just in case.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science Dress Code
To support a positive experience for everyone, guests are expected to wear appropriate, family friendly attire while visiting the Museum.
- Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
- Clothing may not display offensive, vulgar, or threatening language, imagery, or symbols.
- Attire or accessories that pose a safety risk, restrict movement, or could be mistaken for official personnel (including emergency responders, law enforcement, or Museum staff) are not permitted.
- Guests 12 years of age and older may not wear masks or face coverings that obscure the face, except for medical, health, or religious reasons.
Exceptions may apply for invited mascots or special events where costumes are encouraged. Guests may be asked to adjust attire or remove prohibited items as a condition of entry.
For a faster check-in please print or have your tickets ready to scan. We will check IDs at the door. All guests must present a valid ID to enter the building.

For Members, tickets can also be found in the DMNS eCard app.
No outside food or drink permitted.
Science Lounge offers light snacks and sweet treats for your enjoyment. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

Museum Staff will be taking photos for promotion purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform a staff member.
Tickets sell fast for Science Lounge events. Limited tickets are available at the door.
Parking & Transportation
Please park in our main parking lot or parking garage on the North side of the building. The South side entry will not be open during these hours. You can refer to this page with up-to-date information!
Parking is free at the Museum, but safety is our priority. Please drink responsibly and be sure to use a ride share service if needed.
